Early Childhood Educator Position Title: Early Childhood Educator Service Type: Sessional kindergarten program for 3- and 4-year-old children. Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Educator to join a supportive early childhood team in Lilydale. The role involves working alongside others to deliver high-quality, play-based educational programs that support children’s learning and development within a sessional kindergarten setting. Work Days & Hours: Full time Typical hours may include a mix of session time and allocated planning time. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement intentional, play-based learning experiences. Support and contribute to a high-quality program aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF) . Work collaboratively with the teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive education and care. Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Participate in reflection and continuous improvement practices. Skills & Experience: Relevant early childhood qualification such as Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III (ACECQA-approved) . Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy and frameworks. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Current Working With Children Check. First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (or willingness to obtain). Mandatory Reporting training (where applicable). Working Requirements: Demonstrated ability to deliver child-centred programs. Respectful, proactive and positive approach to practice and teamwork. Understanding of ethical and regulatory expectations within early childhood education.
